I feel like I’m fighting a losing fight. Over 2/3 of my Facebook are religious folks; that’s what you get from making best friends while you were being brought up in a sheltered, Christian home. I love my friends so much but lately, every second status posted has me gritting my teeth and trying to stop myself from getting in yet another argument about gay marriage or Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays or ‘How dare the Islamic community think they have the right to try to influence how Australian law develops?’ (even though Christian lobby groups do it ALL THE DAMN TIME)
Hypocrisy people, you are showing it. Big time.
There’s no need to put other people down to shore up your own beliefs. We get it, we know what you think. Now live and let live in peace.
